1. General Summary
This Legal Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy explains the general and specific rules for using VeltrixHost infrastructure. Infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, bandwidth, servers, switches, IP addresses, network equipment, storage, and any system used to transmit, receive, or host data.
2. Privacy Respected
VeltrixHost respects customer privacy and works to protect information stored, transmitted, or processed through our services. We do not sell customer information and we do not disclose confidential information except where required by applicable law, service operation, billing, fraud prevention, or abuse investigation.
3. Required Contact Information
Clients must provide a valid email address so VeltrixHost can send service notices, payment reminders, product updates, security alerts, abuse reports, and other important account communications.
4. Prohibited Content and Activities
VeltrixHost allows privacy-focused offshore hosting, but the following activities are prohibited: child exploitation material, hacking activity, spam, phishing, botnets, DDoS activity, malware, abusive network behavior, and any activity that may result in serious blacklist listings or damage to our infrastructure.
5. Billing and Service Suspension
Services may be suspended if invoices are not paid by the due date. When a service is suspended, access to files, configurations, websites, or server data may be restricted until payment is completed.
6. Data Retention After Non-Payment
If payment is not received, VeltrixHost may recycle or terminate the service after the allowed grace period. Shared hosting data may be retained for a limited period after the due date, but clients are fully responsible for maintaining their own backups and preventing data loss.
7. Service Cancellation
Clients may cancel services through the client control panel before the renewal date. Cancellation requests must be submitted through the proper billing area. VeltrixHost may cancel or suspend accounts for policy violations, staff abuse, fraud, non-payment, or network abuse.
8. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the specific service type, billing status, and applicable VeltrixHost refund rules. Setup fees, used service time, abuse-related terminations, and certain server orders may not be refundable.
9. Shared Hosting Resource Usage
Shared hosting clients must use resources fairly. Excessive CPU, memory, disk I/O, PHP, HTTP, FTP, CGI, cron, or database usage may affect other users and can result in restrictions, suspension, or a request to upgrade to VPS or dedicated hosting.
10. Restricted Shared Hosting Usage
Shared hosting accounts may not run unattended server-side processes, torrent applications, trackers, abusive scripts, excessive cron jobs, or services that are better suited for VPS or dedicated servers.
11. DMCA and Local Jurisdiction
VeltrixHost provides offshore hosting services and handles complaints according to the applicable jurisdiction of the server location and our internal policies. However, prohibited content and abusive activity remain strictly disallowed.
12. Price Changes
VeltrixHost may update public pricing, promotions, plan features, or included resources at any time. Existing customers may remain on their current billing terms unless a required infrastructure, licensing, or policy change affects the service.
13. Changes to Terms
VeltrixHost reserves the right to amend, modify, replace, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective once posted on the VeltrixHost website. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
